Ferienhaus Seezeichen

The Holstein family made us feel especially welcome, and the apartment was lovely, with quality furniture, a peaceful setting, and a beautiful view. I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could.

We really enjoyed our two weeks here in the summer and will definitely return. It’s a fantastic apartment, furnished in a modern style, and we felt welcome right away. Booking was easy, and our questions were answered quickly. We mostly used the e-bikes to get around, since the beach, train station, and supermarket are all close by. You can also reach Lindau and Bregenz by bike.

The view, with its beautiful sunsets, was a highlight, and Lake Constance and a lovely park are only about 100 meters away. Shops are walkable, and the train station takes about 7 minutes to reach on foot. Even when the building was fully occupied, the apartment stayed quiet at night thanks to good soundproofing. We could sleep with the windows open, and the bedroom windows have mosquito nets. All the windows have electric blinds, too. Inside, it’s spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully maintained, with high-quality furnishings that don’t feel cluttered. The kitchen is in excellent shape and fully equipped: the coffee maker takes ground coffee and filter coffee (1x4), and there’s a microwave and kettle. The fridge has a small freezer compartment, and the dishwasher runs quietly. There’s fast internet and ample parking. In the basement you’ll find a washing machine, an iron, and an ironing board, while the apartment has a drying rack. The wide stairs have handrails on both sides, which made carrying large suitcases easy. The landlords were very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we felt very comfortable and will definitely be back next year.

Wasserburg’s town center, with its lovely harbor, train station, and more, is easy to reach on foot. The apartment is right by the waterfront and next to a fantastic outdoor swimming pool with beach access. It’s clean, modern, and has excellent amenities. The owners are so welcoming, they made us feel right at home. Highly recommended, we’ll be back!
