The service was a standout for us. The woman who owns Hotel Lugerhof was incredibly helpful, quick to answer the phone and ready to handle all our questions. My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights and would happily return. Our room was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and a balcony overlooking a beautiful view. Breakfast was a full spread of coffee or tea, eggs, bread, fruit, pastries, muesli and more. We ate well each morning before the drive to Furth im Wald, which took at most 15 minutes. We highly recommend staying here.

It was a hot day when we arrived, but our room was cool and quiet. The hosts were lovely and really understand hospitality. After biking all day, we could tell them what time we wanted dinner, so we could shower and then sit down to a meal that was ready. We had a great stay.

We had a great dinner, including fresh salad from their own garden, and a lovely stay at Hotel Lugerhof. We were biking from Holland to the Czech Republic and stopped overnight here. It’s in a beautiful, quiet village near places like Cham and Bavarian forest. The hosts were nice, and we’d definitely recommend the hotel.
