Dorint Am Goethepark Weimar

The room was a good size, and the bathtub was nice. The hotel is fairly close to the city center and has a good sauna. Service was nothing special, though, and the pillows made it hard to sleep.

Trip: 31.08-01.09 The location is excellent, right by the park in the city center. Everything was very clean, the staff were friendly, and the Restaurant was excellent too. I was traveling with Teddy, and we really appreciated that they’d prepared a dog bowl for us. I’d booked through Booking.com but couldn’t leave a review there afterward. I wanted to make sure to share one here because the hotel deserves an excellent rating.

We loved this hotel in Weimar and would definitely come back if we’re in town again. The rooms were spacious, neat and in perfect shape, with good lighting and a great bathroom with a bathtub. Service was good and the staff efficient. The spa and sauna are wonderful and free for hotel guests. The breakfast spread was probably the best we’ve had in Germany so far. There was loads to choose from, including meat, fish, salads, fruit, sweets and savouries, tea, coffee and plenty of other things. The restaurant looked good too, though we only had drinks there and at the bar.

The Dorint is modern and elegant, with lovely staff and a good location for visiting many tourist sites. Breakfast was good, though a little pricey. The bathrooms are proper bathrooms, unlike the glass doors and walls in two other "premium" hotels I stayed at in Germany. I’d happily return.
