The location works perfectly when the Italian restaurant is open. If it isn't, it's McDonald's. There was no service, which was okay, but the pillows were bad.

We stayed here to visit Hamelin, which was only about half an hour away by car. The hotel was quiet and a bit off the beaten track, with friendly, helpful staff. Our room was nice and spacious, and breakfast had a decent selection.

The receptionists are arrogant. They argue with guests and try to talk over them. The bathroom smells musty, too. Honestly, management seems unable to see that these receptionists should be cleaning rooms, while the young man who cleans the rooms should be at reception.

The one bright spot was the man who cleaned the rooms, who was incredibly nice. We left the hotel early, and I can't recommend it at all. The shower was moldy, including the hose, with a tiny showerhead and laughable water pressure. I've never had a shower that bad. There was just one towel rack for two people, and the carpet didn't seem hygienic, though that's a matter of taste. We were supposedly given a free upgrade, but it felt more like a downgrade. I'm incredibly disappointed.
