Ferienwohnung Friesenkoje

The location is within reasonable distance of the center and beach, and the apartment is in an older multi-unit building, probably from around the 1970s. Inside, it’s been stylishly renovated, with the living room and kitchenette on the ground floor and the bedroom and shower downstairs. The furniture looks good and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped, with a large fridge, dishwasher, four-zone induction hob, and decent dishes. But the place is crowded with mostly very dusty coastal decorations, leaving hardly any surface space for our own things. The patio door stuck and was barely possible to open, probably impossible for someone with less strength. The ventilation window was broken, so upstairs airing was only possible through the patio door. The kitchen tap was loose and awkward to use. Despite being told there would be Wi-Fi, we couldn’t get online, and I couldn’t find a router anywhere in the property. I contacted the provider that evening and was told it would be sorted by the next morning. Nothing happened, and when I followed up at noon, the employee didn’t know about the issue. On the second day, the provider still said Wi-Fi wasn’t possible. A replacement wireless network mentioned that afternoon didn’t exist either. Mobile data didn’t work in or around the property because there was no reception, so I had to drive to Westerland for a stable connection. For two nights at over €200 per night all in, the value for money was very poor.

Communication was pleasant, and the apartment was lovely, thoughtfully furnished, and had everything I needed. Everything worked properly, and I found the stay completely relaxing. Sylt is always worth a visit, and I’ll definitely be back.

We felt right at home in this lovely, peaceful holiday apartment in Wenningstedt. I’d be happy to come back.

We all felt very comfortable in this lovely apartment and would gladly return anytime.
