Seminar- und Tagungshotel Große Ledder

There’s a lot to like for a training stay: good rooms and equipment, a striking building, and woodland grounds. The food had enough variety to suit different tastes, and free parking was a nice plus. My main gripes were the weak mobile reception and painfully slow WiFi.

The conference rooms are roomy, clean, and equipped with the technology you need, with drinks and snacks on hand. Hotel rooms are large and clean as well, and the restaurant buffet offers plenty of choice and very good food. Service was excellent. The WiFi was available, though often didn’t work, so the internet connection needs attention.

The atmosphere is nice, but the room was seriously short on comfort. The beds were tiny, just 90 cm, there was no minibar, WiFi barely worked, and mobile reception was almost nonexistent. I also found spiders in my room, even though it was winter.

The restaurant is well worth a visit, and the countryside manor has been nicely refurbished. Just be aware that the rooms are spread out in the woods. I had to take a car from reception to get to mine.
