The terrace was a lovely spot for barbecues and eating together, and the children could play in the garden. We spent Pentecost weekend there with a family of friends and all felt at ease. Four of us shared a double bungalow, with each apartment about 40 square meters, and it had everything we needed. It was clean and modern inside, and the landlady was friendly and ready to help. We’d definitely recommend it.

We had a really comfortable stay with our two children. The landlady was lovely, and the apartment felt cozy. It also made a good starting point for seeing the area.

We had all the essentials in apartment 1 during our four-day stay, but it didn’t feel very cozy, and the furnishings took a bit of getting used to. Towels weren’t included, which was a real downside. At €60.00 a day, it seemed too expensive for what it was.

It’s about a 20-minute walk from here to the town center, with a bus stop 100-150 meters away. Aldi is roughly 350-400 meters off, and there’s a small zoo nearby too. The place is quietly set on the outskirts of Wernigerode, nicely furnished, and sleeps four.

We felt at home from the warm welcome, and thank the friendly, accommodating landlady. The apartment is new, spacious, clean, and nicely furnished, with parking and a welcome for dogs. It sits at the foot of the castle, about a 25-minute walk from Wernigerode’s old town.
