A nice little hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was the usual sort of spread for a small hotel. You can use your invoice as a ticket on Wernigerode buses, which is handy. There's also a sauna, though I didn't try it. I'd definitely stay again.

The sauna was great and the staff were nice. Our apartment was spacious and comfortable, though some of the furniture looked a bit shabby, which felt odd. Breakfast was okay, not especially good, but that may have been because of the timing during COVID.

The only issue for us was the rooms in the 'new' aisle, which felt a little small with luggage. Otherwise, Hotel Fürstenhof is a great choice for a weekend in Wernigerode. It's a charming building below the castle, right at the entrance to the Old Town, with free parking, an amazing breakfast, and very welcoming employees. Highly recommend!

The Finnish/Turkish sauna is included in the room price, and the staff are friendly. It's a historic building with a great view of the castle up on the hill. The historic center is about a five-minute walk away.

The rooms are a little old, but adequate for the price. It's a quaint, romantic hotel with easy parking, steady Wi-Fi, and a great free breakfast. Staff were very friendly. When we visited, check-in closed at ten, so call ahead if you're going to be late.
