Lovely spot, right in the forest!

The restaurant food was tasty, and breakfast was plentiful. You let them know what you’d like for breakfast when you arrive. The rooms are rustic and don’t have TVs, but the views of the mountains, forest, and starry sky are wonderful. From the moment you arrive, you’re met with that typical Allgäu warmth, a friendly chat, and an easy sense of comfort. It’s a lovely place to stay. I don’t understand the negative reviews. A lot depends on how you treat people. What goes around comes around.

We felt very comfortable in the relaxed atmosphere. The hosts were lovely, and both breakfast and dinner were excellent.
