Main-Apartments

The location is fantastic, with the city center only a few minutes away and the apartments very quiet. There’s a bakery right around the corner too. But the sofa in the ground floor apartment is absolutely awful, you can’t sit on it for five minutes! We had to keep our bikes inside the apartment, even though the owner knew we were arriving by bike. There should be no indication that there is NO bike storage available!

Even with temperatures of 33 degrees Celsius, the attic stayed pleasantly cool. The apartment itself is large and very quiet, and getting the key from the box with the code was straightforward.

We booked the apartment for one night for two adults and one child. It’s relatively recently renovated and well-equipped, with a small kitchen that’s good for simple meals: a two-burner cooktop, refrigerator and capsule coffee machine. The bathroom is large and well-appointed. We rate it 5 stars here, and Booking.com gave it 9 out of 10 points. The key box and code made the handover rather impersonal. That’s not a problem, but I prefer a more personal touch. There are no mosquito nets on the windows, perhaps those could be added later :). A couple of small drawbacks: the double bed is only 140cm wide, which felt quite small, and the mattress was too soft and uncomfortable for us. The sofa had no cushions and was uncomfortable too. There is a large TV, in case that matters to anyone. If we vacation in the area again, we’ll definitely stay here. I’ve attached a couple of pictures of the apartment.

We stayed in the ground floor apartment, which was very nice, clean and tidy. It’s really central, with parking within walking distance. A 24-hour day ticket costs €4. We’d definitely stay again.
