The apartment was nice for a short stay. I was a little disappointed that we couldn’t leave our luggage after check-out. Please consider adding a storage room in the future.

I can only speak for the café. The guy was super nice, and the kids were welcome. The menu is simple but has what you need: a bite to eat, good cake, delicious wine and coffee. Top

I’d booked and paid through Booking.com via PayPal, but when I arrived they sent me to Hotel Malerwinkel. I was told the owner of Pension Klitzeklein had passed away. They had taken over the hotel, but hadn’t managed to transfer or cancel bookings made through Booking.com, and there was no room for me. I had to find somewhere else at a higher price. They said getting my money back from Booking.com would be easy. Booking.com still hasn’t replied to my many inquiries. PayPal couldn’t help either, because the seller, and who was that supposed to be, claims the service was provided. What a scam!

The rooms are nice, and the landlord is friendly. Breakfast is served across the street. You’re right in the middle of everything here, it couldn’t be more central. That does mean it’s noisy, and the nearest parking is 300 meters away, so a suitcase with wheels is a good idea.

The guesthouse is near the market square in a quiet area, though you can’t get there by car. Parking is a 4-minute walk away and costs €3.50 per night. Breakfast isn’t included, but we had it at the city cafe across the street, which opens at 9:00 a.m. and is highly recommended. Our top-floor room had a shower, was clean and well-maintained, and had air conditioning. The beds were soft, and the price was reasonable for the room.
