The room was OK, though the bathroom and shower were very cramped. We can’t say much about the restaurant because we gave up and went to a nearby place that was willing to serve us, and it was very good. Our visit was spoiled by an unhelpful staff member we encountered at check-in and later when we unsuccessfully tried to get a dinner table. The official reception staff, by contrast, were friendly and helpful, as you’d expect. Tauberhotel Kette needs to think about how it selects and trains its staff.

The Greek restaurant is what I can speak to, and it was simply fantastic. Great food, friendly service, and a lovely spot by the Tauber. It brought back some wonderful memories of Peden Barracks from a long time ago.

The rooms are on the small side, but they have everything needed inside. It fits the feel of the town well, with a good location, friendly staff, and fair prices. The restaurant was decent, and everything was clean.

I called to ask what rooms might be available for a business trip of about a week. When I asked whether they spoke English, the woman answered rather aggressively, “We don’t speak English, bye bye!” and then hung up.

The beds are comfortable, definitely recommend those. I’m still here at the moment, and it’s very clean. Breakfast was okay, a typical German spread, though there wasn’t much choice.
