B&B Hotel Wetzlar

The room was roomy and comfortable, and both the shower temperature and water pressure were excellent. We parked on site in the outdoor area, which is secured by a barrier and needs a code to open. The service could’ve been friendlier, though we did arrive pretty late. Still, it was a good stay.

The triple room was really comfortable, and using self check-in and check-out was convenient. We caused some trouble through our own mistake, but the staff stayed patient and polite while clearing up the misunderstanding. Their service and patience left a strong impression on me.

The bunk beds worked well for our kids, and the employee gave us coloring books and crayons when we arrived. Our room was small but comfortable and quiet. Staff were quick to respond when they were around, and they sorted out a tripped breaker right away when we lost power to the outlets one morning. The code to enter the building stopped working the night before checkout, though, and nobody was there to help. Another guest let us in, so we didn’t have to wait outside in the cold with our two children under seven. Being right beside the Forum made food and shopping easy, and the hotel met our needs for visiting family. We’ll probably stay again, but I’d like the passcode to keep working for the whole time we’ve paid for.

I was happy with the hotel and would stay there again, either here or at another B&B hotel. It was a good price and easy to reach from the train station. The room was fine, and I liked being able to adjust the AC myself. Breakfast had a decent range; I went later and some items hadn’t been replenished, but I found enough to eat.
