Traumfänger

Just got back from a week at the red, thatched-roof house called "Traumfänger" on Kargweg in Wieck. This review is about that house, not the same-named one in the photo at Nordkaten 6. The house is in good condition and beautifully furnished, but calling it detached is misleading. It sits only 3 meters from Kargweg, the quickest way for people in eastern Wieck to get to the main road and the edge of town. There’s traffic all day and night, and some drivers treat this narrow one-way street like a racetrack. I mean that literally: cars sometimes race past at up to 80 km/h. That feels potentially life-threatening for pets and small children. The fence is just three horizontal rails, and you can’t see the road. Larger cars also can’t use the driveway. For a longer stay, a washing machine would be useful too. Otherwise, things were fine despite those drawbacks. P.S. The owner’s response is right: the "Traumfänger" shown on Google Maps is a different house. The one I’m writing about is the red, thatched-roof house of the same name on Kargweg in Wieck. Maybe the listing should be corrected.
