We’ve now stayed in both Sehnsucht and Alte Liebe, and both apartments are great. The house is tastefully furnished, clean, and tidy. Mr. Kittler is very friendly and even accommodates special requests. You can explore Rügen from here. Highly recommended.

The area is beautiful, and the garden is fenced, which is great for us with a dog. We loved the apartment’s layout and found it had everything we needed. I took off one star because there’s no dishwasher. The shower is over the bathtub with a plastic curtain, the mattresses are very soft and saggy, and the bedding has definitely seen better days.

Sehnsucht has all the useful basics: a bathtub, a separate shower, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. The location is fantastic, with the Bodden lagoon nearby and the sights easy to get to. But the mattresses are a shame, very thin and hard, so it felt like lying straight on the bed frame.

The house was fantastic, really clean and nicely furnished. There’s one large bed, two small beds, and a pull-out sofa bed, so six people can stay comfortably. It’s very close to the water, though not to a beach. The nearest larger beach is about a 15-minute drive away.

There’s so much to see and do, and the area is stunning. The holiday home is beautiful and very comfortable, a great place to relax. Mr. Kittler is friendly and available any time to answer questions. Highly recommended. Best regards from Leipzig...
