The location is the one real plus, close to the city center, the state theater, and the casino. Beyond that, I had a bad stay and wouldn't recommend it unless you're out all day and can shower somewhere else. There was no hot water at the sink, shower, or bathtub, and the toilet seat was broken. The room's hydraulic heating system was very loud, and the sheets didn't smell fresh. The sauna was supposed to be working, but it wasn't. The reception was unstaffed every evening, and there was no way to reach anyone. The TV channel list included many channels that had no connection. This doesn't deserve four stars.

The rooms are bigger than average, and the location is handy if you don't want to walk much. But my stay went downhill fast. The heating didn't work, so I was cold. When I asked for help, I was told it was fine. I kept insisting, and someone came in, pressed a few buttons on the controller, and said it was working. I still spent the whole night cold and got sick. I ended up crying over the situation, and I can't understand how a hotel claiming four stars can let this happen.

The only thing that worked well was the central location, which made getting around convenient. I booked a room here for a relative for a few days, and I regret putting her through the experience. The rooms had basic equipment problems, poor cleanliness, and a strong, unhealthy smell that made it unpleasant to breathe. The Wi-Fi was terribly unreliable and only worked in the lobby. Staff also seemed to lack basic customer support skills. I apologized to my relative, and wish the hotel offered better service and conditions.

The hotel is in a very central spot with good connections, and there are nice bakeries and restaurants nearby. The beds were comfortable, the bedroom was an okay size, and the bathroom was very big. Still, I don't consider this a four star hotel. Our room was freezing when we arrived, and neither the AC nor the heating worked. I asked twice for it to be fixed. Nothing happened after the first request. The second time, the receptionist checked that the windows were shut, switched the wall console off and on, then said it worked, but nothing was fixed. Our towels weren't changed during the two days, and with no heat they couldn't dry. The room wasn't cleaned either. The wardrobe smelled odd, so I kept my clothes out of it. There was also a leaking shower hose, and water seemed to come through the ceiling when the shower was on, possibly from a leak in the pipe. For access, the elevator only reaches the fifth floor, so anyone staying on the sixth has to use the stairs for the last floor. I saw reviews from five months ago saying these problems came from the previous owners, but with so many still there, I don't think that's fair.

We had to pay 40 euros for two days of parking, and then got fined for parking somewhere we shouldn't have. There was no car park. Inside, the Wi-Fi kept cutting out, the room had no air conditioning, the TV didn't work, and the shower drain was clogged. There were dead pigeons on the balcony and the staff were rude. The drains also smelled really bad.
