Hotel Alina

Breakfast cost €15 extra and wasn’t included in the room price. The rooms were very basic and not especially clean, with carpet stains, no kettle, and two awful pillows. The car park is behind the hotel, and nearby there’s only a Lidl and a petrol station, with nothing else around. Would I stay again? Only as a last resort.

The receptionist was a very friendly young man, and we did get a fan, which made the heat a little more bearable. Still, with 35 degrees outside and no air-conditioning, we barely got a decent night’s sleep. The room was outdated, with old furniture, and the bathroom was small, old, and hot. The shower temperature was almost impossible to control, swinging from cold to hot, which could be dangerous for children. We also found two spiders by the window. The location wasn’t interesting and was far from the centre, bars, and restaurants, and the elevator stopped working in the evening. For the price of one night, the quality wasn’t there, so I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The service was friendly and things were functional. Rooms have plenty of space, though the toilet and shower area is cramped but usable. Breakfast is basic, but a decent way to start the day. The beds were okay, while the pillows could be better. The room listed as king had a double bed, not a king-size one, and there were no conditioners available.

I've stayed here many times over the past 7-8 years. The rooms are clean and a decent size, and the staff are friendly. The only thing that can make a stay unpleasant is other guests.
