It's been years since I stayed at Haus Hirschfelder. It's in lovely Wildemann, a small village that's a nice spot for eating, having a drink, and going hiking.

The hosts are always glad to answer questions and never seem bothered when guests ask for help. We've stayed several times and keep coming back. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and nicely furnished, and the accommodation has a lovely charm. Breakfast is generous and beautifully set out, and the bread delivery service is great too. Wildemann is a very quiet, peaceful village and a good base for hiking and exploring nearby. The owners are friendly and helpful. The attached holiday home sleeps up to six and, like the main house, is a little dated but perfectly usable. There's a kitchen, a living room with a terrace, an upstairs bathroom shared by two bedrooms, a shower in the downstairs bedroom, and a separate toilet. Since shopping options in the village are limited, the bread delivery service is useful.

Our apartment was fantastic, with some very modern furnishings, and we'd be happy to return. The hosts are incredibly kind and friendly, and dogs are welcome too.

We only came for breakfast while my parents were staying overnight. It was fantastic, nothing was missing, and Mrs. Hirschfelder was so nice. A very cozy place.
