Welcoming, friendly staff and a nice room, with a pleasant breakfast too. Just be aware that you have to pay to use the coffee machine. The hotel worked well for a one-night stop, but online services like hotels.com or trivago listed much lower prices: we paid 135€, while hotels.com had the same room for 96€.

The staff were so friendly, the food was excellent, and they’re very welcoming to dogs. The hotel’s in a great spot for walks, and Alexander Church is only about a 10-minute walk away.

We had a lovely meal outside in the restaurant’s outdoor area, which is great when the weather cooperates. The food was really fresh and tasty, portions were generous, and the ingredients seemed high quality. I struggled to finish my main after the delicious tomato soup and fresh bread. I had the seafood trio, served with a nice wine-based sauce. Drinks and food were served well, and the service was friendly in a cozy atmosphere. I’d highly recommend it.

A handy stop on a long drive, with decent rooms. The breakfast buffet was disappointing, though. The smoking lounge beside reception may suit smokers, but it left a very unpleasant smell right as you enter the poorly lit reception. I’d seen someone mention the dry bamboo in the stairwell and thought it sounded odd. Having been there, I can see how it could set the whole space ablaze in a fire. We were traveling with teenagers, who thoroughly enjoyed the inflatable football darts in the garden, so credit for that.

The menu had plenty to choose from, and the staff were cheerful and very helpful. The rooms were nicely presented, with comfortable beds and excellent showers. A nice, very clean place.
