The location isn't especially attractive, but the harbor is easy to reach on foot, and the museum and aquarium are walkable too. We spent three nights in Wilhelmshaven, and the apartment clearly has potential. It needs a proper clean and some renovation, though. The kitchen was especially dirty: the cupboards and fridge were sticky inside, and the stove and cooktop were grimy. Opening the bin lid brought a truly awful smell. In the bathroom, the silicone was dirty and starting to mold, the fan didn't work and was already black, and the toilet seat was so loose that using it felt like a roller coaster. There's no toilet paper holder either. The apartment is quite run-down, and the walls throughout the building are very thin and pale. We could hear every resident coming and going, right up until 3 a.m. What a shame.

There's plenty of free parking right outside, and the prices are good. The location is good too. The apartments are nice and furnished with what you need, including furniture, TVs, and kitchen appliances. Some also have kitchen basics like salt, pepper, garbage bags, and dishwashing supplies. A beautiful vacation apartment!

I spent an hour cleaning before I could relax, which isn't much of a start to a vacation. The bin was still overflowing with smelly children's diapers. It would have been much nicer if the place had been clean.

Cobwebs on the walls made it seem like cleaning wasn't usually taken very seriously. The apartment was completely filthy and hadn't been cleaned at the agreed time, so it was uninhabitable for us. We cancelled right away.

The place was clean, quiet, spacious, and well equipped, with a comfortable double bed. The organization was excellent too. We'd be happy to come back.
