The main issue was the bathroom vent, which ran loudly all day and night. Turning off the lights and closing the door lowered its speed slightly, but not nearly enough. Another problem was my room being right next to a building “design element,” close to my ear. When it rained, big drops hit the metal sheets on several levels and made a loud dripping sound. Not ideal. I was there for two weeks and had to borrow a fridge from a friend because there wasn't one in the room, which made a long stay difficult. I was on an 11-day business trip. My company paid, but €124 a night with breakfast is too expensive. The beds were mediocre, though that's personal preference. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was very nice, close to the sea, shops, food, and bars. Breakfast was plentiful, and the Wi-Fi was free, though not very fast, I guess because there were too many people.

The only snag was a technical issue with the TV remote, which can happen. Booking and check-in were efficient, the staff were kind and professional and gave good restaurant suggestions, and parking was free. The place was clean and well located.

The breakfast cost a bit more than I expected, though there was a wider choice than I thought there'd be. Check-in was flexible, and the hotel is close to the waterfront.

We had a PLUS room, which gave us a little extra space and a nice sea view. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom spotless, and the building felt new and modern. Staff were polite and friendly, and it was handy having a dog-friendly place with parking on site, even if spaces there were limited. There was plenty of free street parking nearby too. Breakfast was small but good quality, and the lobby had a large, comfortable desk for working. The only thing I'd improve is the vacuuming, especially under the beds.

Getting locked out at night was a ridiculous situation. I came back from dinner in the center around 21:30 to find the reception shut and the doors locked. I'd lost the entry PIN, and it was saved on my phone, which had run out of battery. There was no way to call for help. The machine in the entrance only offered to email a reset code, which was useless with my phone off. Luckily I managed to charge it at a nearby hotel just before that place closed too. Otherwise, I might have had to sleep outside. At the very least, there should be an emergency alarm option for cases like this.
