Fewo und Meer Whv

We had everything we needed in the Nordwind apartment, a cozy, clean room that’s been newly renovated. There’s a small kitchenette with a cooktop, kettle and microwave. A bakery, kiosk and other small shops are only a 1-2 minute walk away, and Rewe is 800 meters away. Wilhelmshaven center is a 10-minute drive. We’d be happy to come back. Thank you!

The key safe made check-in straightforward. It worked, and the arrival information came automatically, but there was no direct contact with the landlord. I had specific questions about a baby cot and parking, and neither of my messages got a reply. Both requests were left unanswered, so we had no cot. I found that very rude and impersonal. There were visible stains on the fitted sheet and sofa, which didn’t feel hygienic. The apartment was also noisy, with lots of sound coming from the hallway. Its furnishings are functional but quite basic, more suited to mechanics than a relaxing holiday. There was no smoke detector system, which is legally required and should be installed urgently. The accommodation was generally fine, but communication, cleanliness and attention to detail need improvement. The smoke detector and replies to inquiries should be addressed.

We’ve stayed here several times, and each time everything has been perfect!

The apartments are accessible for wheelchair users thanks to the building’s elevator. It’s clean, has everything you need, and offers excellent value for the price. For check-in, the landlord emails you a code to open the key box.
