Hotel Garni Zentral

The hotel was clean, well located, and had very friendly service. Our room, though, was furnished very basically, and the refrigerator didn’t work. The windows badly need replacing. At almost €100 a night without breakfast, I’d expect more.

We felt right at home, thanks to the great service and the super friendly owners and staff 😊 The rooms were nicely furnished and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and clearly prepared with care. Thanks again for everything ☺️

The hotel is part of an ice cream parlor, and the owner was very nice and accommodating. The room looked a bit dated, but for one night it was completely fine. It was very clean, the bathroom was new, and the bed was really comfortable. There’s parking behind the hotel, plus plenty of spaces on the street. We didn’t book breakfast, so I can’t comment on it. We’ll be back!

I had the only room outside the main building. The heating eventually warmed up during the night, but the shower temperature kept fluctuating in the morning, as though the water heater couldn’t keep up. Breakfast was limited: three wheat rolls, three kinds of sausage, one type of windshield washer fluid, an egg, juice, jam, Nutella, and some kind of dessert. There was no buffet or choice of fruit and fresh produce. Maybe that’s what you can expect for €15. When I arrived, I parked for free in the backyard and entered the room directly through a fire door. It had laminate flooring, which was slippery with wet shoes and no doormat. The room felt cold, sterile, and uncomfortable, with no table or chair. It was only 11 degrees outside, but the heating in both the room and bathroom was cold. The €120 room price was outrageous.
