Ettelsberg Appart

For families with children, Willingen is a great summer destination. We also enjoyed the Aventura Spieleberg adventure park in Medebach, and the wildlife park in Willingen had a few surprises for us. At the Heideblüte holiday apartment, we had everything we needed. The bread roll delivery and MeineCard+ were especially nice, and the included slate mine tour, mini-golf, Curioseum, and cable car were fantastic. We’d love to return.

The Willingen Card+ was included, covering public transport and entry to a wide range of attractions. The landlord was friendly and attentive, and the apartment had high-speed Wi-Fi, a smart TV with a great sound system, and a bread delivery service. There’s also a washing machine in the basement for a fee. On the hillside, the house has excellent amenities and a great location. Our apartment was modern, bright, and clean, with electric blinds, a small balcony, and a patio with a large awning. The kitchen had a dishwasher, electric stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and kettle. The beds and the rest of the apartment were clean, and parking was available on the property.

The MeineCard Plus came with the apartment, so we could use several attractions for free without weighing up the cost each time. With two adults and three children, expenses usually add up fast, so that was a big plus. We also liked being close to the ice rink, with everything else easy to reach on foot or by car. The bright apartment made good use of its space, and three bedrooms meant nobody had to sleep in the living area or be disturbed by people moving around. Having two toilets for five people helped too. The beds were very comfortable, neither too soft nor saggy. A dishwasher and microwave were handy with a toddler, and the room blinds mattered to us because we and the children like to sleep in complete darkness. Blinds are unfortunately unusual in Willingen. Wi-Fi was included as well. We’d love to come back.

We could get everywhere on foot from this modern, renovated apartment, thanks to its ideal location. There was a morning bread roll service and a discount card for free attractions too.
