The food was the standout, and the staff were hospitable. The pool was great, and I had it all to myself since nobody else was there. The location was okay, and the rooms were fine. Hygiene could be better, though: there was some grease around the pool and a bit of a musty smell.

It really felt like a home away from home, in a great location. The food is fantastic and very reasonably priced. Staff are attentive and happy to help with anything. I can only recommend it.

I loved the weekend. The rooms are clean and have everything you need, even a little refrigerator in my single room. The hotel, owner and staff are all very nice. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with great cheese, meat and jams. Dinner was outstanding too: the pork was tender and well seasoned, and the service friendly. After eating, my brother, his girlfriend and I had beers at the bar. I've never liked gin and tonic, but the waiter changed my mind. Best gin I've had. There was also a relaxing bath, sauna and infrared cabin.

The "MeineCardPlus" was a great perk, with free access to local attractions around Nord Hessen, some cable cars, public transport and more, as listed in the leaflet. Parking costs nothing, and your spot stays reserved while you take the car out. There was a good breakfast and dinner, plus an indoor swimming pool and infrared cabin. The staff and owner were attentive. We had a great time in this typically German, old-style, cozy hotel. I recommend it!
