The apartment's hillside spot was a real plus for us. It was quiet at the end of a cul-de-sac, with a broad view of the surrounding mountains, a direct look at Ettelsberg mountain and Willingen's prominent Sauerland star, and wonderful sunrises between the mountains. Shopping was close by at REWE, Lidl, and a bakery. The road up is steep, so a car is recommended, and parking on the property is free, with a space right in front of the house. There's also an interesting summer toboggan run on the nearby hillside. The house made a great starting point for excursions. We didn't use the balcony because it was too cold. We spent a week in the exclusive two-bedroom apartment, three adults and one child, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was fully equipped and we lacked nothing. The bathroom was large, modern, and bright, with a big window and spacious shower with a rain shower head. Having a second toilet was very convenient. The living room was bright and large, with morning sun coming through the huge window. We'd book it again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it.
