Gasthaus Blume

The room situation was awful. We chose this hotel in the middle of a very hot summer because air conditioning was listed on its website and on booking dot com, and we wanted to sleep well. But the hotel cuts power to the A/C units overnight, from 23h to 07h. There was no notice about this when we booked or checked in, and nobody was at the front desk overnight. We spent the night sweating and only managed a little sleep once the A/C came back at 7AM. When we asked what was going on, we were told the shutdown was automatic and that we could leave the window and room door open for fresh air. I couldn't believe that answer, especially since they still expected us to pay full price. It felt really deceptive. The restaurant was a letdown too, with prices that the food didn't warrant. The pasta was tasteless and came in a sticky, uneven pile. The cordon bleu was overfried, slid around on a white plate, and tasted like it had been reheated in a microwave. The whole place was a complete disappointment.
