Central Hotel

Hebun at reception was incredibly helpful and welcoming to our group, friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and able to speak many languages very well. The woman on duty in the morning was lovely too, though I didn't catch her name. My colleagues also found their rooms very clean. This was the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in, whatever the price, and we were especially pleased to find it at such a low rate. We'd happily stay again. Thank you :-) My single room was simple, clean, and a little dated, but in very good shape, with no botched repairs in sight. It had everything I needed for one night: a very comfortable bed, desk, TV, table and chair, lamp, wardrobe, full length mirror, bedside table, and plenty of outlets. The blackout curtains and nets were useful, the window opened enough for fresh air, and the temperature was good. There was a proper key for the decent door lock instead of an access card. The room had clear information and Wi-Fi, and the bathroom was spotless, with shower gel and hand wash dispensers, bright white towels, and even a hairdryer. I did miss having tea or coffee facilities in the room, though there was a free coffee machine in reception that we were all grateful for. They're updating the rooms, so perhaps in-room tea and coffee will come. There's a Lidl right next door for wine, snacks, or breakfast things. A Greek restaurant on the ground floor is open for dinner. I didn't try it because we had an event, but some colleagues ate there the previous night and said it was nice. There was free parking under the hotel and an elevator.

Breakfast was plentiful, and the staff were very friendly. Our room was spacious and bright, with a large desk, a really comfortable bed, and a nicely designed bathroom. There's also a nice Greek restaurant in the same building.

The hotel is centrally located, right across from TTI's main office, and the rooms are clean. Staff go out of their way to help, and breakfast is good German fare, with hot coffee, a nice selection of cheeses and meats, and other traditional breakfast items. As with most German hotels I've stayed in, though, there's no air conditioning.

The beds could be a little bigger, but they're comfy and everything was clean. There's a nice Greek restaurant right at the entrance, handy if you get back late and are hungry. I had a good experience.
