The place is in the middle of windy nowhere, but with good company it's a fun spot. We had a barbecue there, and it was very well organized.

On my business trip, I came across the Sievers Gasthaus and the owner gave me a warm welcome. The rooms are spacious, with plenty of room to unwind even on a longer stay, and there was always free parking. Service was absolutely fine, and the breakfast buffet was consistently delicious. Mr. Sievers even spontaneously invited me to his birthday party, which says a lot about the welcoming, pleasant atmosphere. It's affordable and absolutely recommendable, and definitely worth stopping at on a trip from south to north. :-)
