Appartement Familie Willems Winterberg 3

After skiing, we could leave our skis hanging and dry our boots in a separate room. The apartment was spotless, felt new, and had all the comforts we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen. The children were very pleased with the Wi-Fi, and it was easy to contact the owner with questions. Fantastic place.

The steep ramp up to the private parking made our station wagon scrape the road, though it wasn't an issue for us. A standard or higher car should be fine. Inside, the apartment was lovely and had a well-stocked kitchen with utensils and a dishwasher. The quiet setting helped us sleep well, and it's about a 15-minute drive from Winterberg. We also appreciated the friendly communication from the owners.

The apartment was beautiful and well cared for, with a roomy shower and a smart TV for YouTube and Netflix. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a dishwasher. It was our first ski trip in Winterberg, and getting around was easy. For Parking 5, we'd set off at 8:30 to reach the slopes by 8:45 without traffic. We left after 9 on day one and spent 20 minutes in traffic toward Winterberg. For food, Peter Isken bakery in Niedersfeld is well worth a stop, and Efes has decent pita and/or pizza. Ski rental at the bottom of the Eschenberg was easy and inexpensive.

We had a great family holiday here, with friendly, straightforward communication from the owner. The apartment is in a good spot, and there's a lovely walking route down the steps to pick up bread at the bakery in the morning.
