The check-in experience was very poor. The booking page said the property was pet friendly, but when we arrived with our dog, we were turned away. The woman then said not all the apartments allow pets, but that wasn't mentioned in the main booking description, so be careful. They might want to add that information there. I can't say what the inside is like, but outside was a mess, with litter and random things on the grass. The woman at check-in was quite rude and wouldn't help us find somewhere else or offer any advice. I wouldn't recommend staying here. I wanted to give zero stars, but that's impossible.

We stayed there with our two children in December, and the accommodation itself was okay. The landlords had left the Sauerland Card association because of the costs, so we never received the card advertised on the website. Even so, we were charged for it, and despite asking several times, we still haven't been reimbursed. They also complained about chewing gum on the corner of the children's room ceiling. After speaking with our children, we were sure it couldn't have been theirs, since they don't chew gum. The landlords mentioned leftover rubbish too. Most of the food items were barely used and seemed too good to throw away, so because our car was full, we left them in the fridge, thinking a landlord might reuse them. The landlady hasn't replied to my emails, though they were all friendly, so here's my review. PS: The ski resort is about 9 km away by car. After around 5 km, there's a slope with a ski school.

The apartments are spacious and lovely, with a kitchen, bathroom, two toilets, and two bedrooms. Postwiese ski area is only 3 km away. It's much smaller than Winterberg, which is 9 km away, so it gets far less crowded.
