The staff were nice, but I wouldn't recommend the food. It was frozen and dry, and overpriced. Looking back, the menu online didn't match what was currently offered. Even items like beer had gone up by almost 150%.

We ate at the restaurant twice, though we weren't staying at the hotel. Every dish was excellent and well priced, and the salad bowl served with each main course was great. The staff were really friendly and worked hard.

For a short ski trip to Winterberg, the "Typ A im Gästehaus" room had everything we needed: beds, showers, toilets, and some furniture for hanging or drying clothes. It's small but clean and in an excellent spot. Breakfast and dinner were great, and the price was awesome.

There were 13 of us having dinner with the family. They were understaffed, but the service was still great, and the food was amazing. I'd highly recommend it.
