Hotel Marleen

The entertainment in the downstairs bar was really enjoyable and good fun. Thanks to Patrick on quiz night, who translated the questions into English beforehand since everything on the paper was in Dutch. We'd read earlier reviews and had some idea what to expect from our first 'Enjoy Hotel Package'. We stayed in Winterberg seven years ago and wanted to explore the walking routes this time. The breakfast buffet was very good, and having a packed lunch available was a bonus since local supplies are limited. Dinner was a buffet too, with different themes each night that gave us a good variety. Although nights were getting cooler in September, our rooms never felt cold. The staff were very helpful and amazing.

Really great hotel.

The dinner buffet kept things interesting with a new theme each evening, and there was plenty to choose from, including starters, mains, and salads. Breakfast was tasty too, and we could make sandwiches to take for lunch. The room was spacious, accessible, and just what I needed for my disability. Everyone was friendly and easy to approach, and Patrick, Peter, and the Enjoy team put a lot of care into making guests comfortable. The Enjoy concept really delivered on that promise. We also appreciated having nearly all Dutch TV channels and decent Wi-Fi. The evening entertainment may not suit everyone, but it's optional. One small drawback was that the hot water temperature fluctuated a bit. We'd definitely come back.
