Shops, cafes, and restaurants are all close by, and the train station is about a 15-minute walk away. We spent a long weekend here at the end of May and had a delightful stay. The owners made us feel very welcome, and breakfast came with great fresh produce. A perfect base in Winterberg. Highly recommend!

You’ll find everything you need in the room, though it’s on the small side. There’s no hairdryer or kettle for making tea, but the owners are very friendly. The hotel is clean, with parking right outside. It’s a 15-minute walk to the slopes and five minutes to the city center. Breakfast was good, if nothing special, and with a Dutch owner, the coffee is Dutch too 😊 Nice hotel, I’d recommend it.

Our son urgently needed a toilet, and since this was the nearest one, he politely asked to use it. They turned him away. I find that completely inhumane and sad. We weren’t guests, so I can’t comment on the accommodation itself.

Getting to the Karussell ski lift is an easy walk, and the hotel is centrally located in Winterberg. It’s small, but lovely, with really friendly people who are always helpful. Breakfast is modest in size but very good.

The beds are comfortable and everything is well maintained. The decor looks a little dated, but the friendly, helpful owners and good value for money make this a nice place to stay.
