Haus Astenblick is on the slopes in Altastenberg, with a ski rental right beside the guesthouse. The bus to Winterberg stops less than 100 meters away, and there's private parking too. The owner was cheerful and very friendly. Our room was super clean, with everything we needed: a comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and lovely shower, TV, wardrobe, plus a sitting area with two chairs and a table. A perfect holiday!

The view from the apartment was breathtaking, and we enjoyed every bit of our weekend. I came with my son and we'll definitely be back. Our hosts were so warm and helpful, and renting equipment was quick, easy, and inexpensive. Everything was clean and tidy. Thanks for a wonderful weekend and for being so welcoming. We're already looking forward to seeing you again!

A warm, friendly welcome and clean rooms in a great location. It's easy to get around on foot or by bus. We've stayed here in both summer and winter, and highly recommend it.

The breakfast was generous and lovely, and they were happy to accommodate requests. I spent two nights at Haus Astenblick and was delighted with my stay. The welcome was warm and easygoing, and my modern, clean room had everything I needed to feel comfortable. Thanks so much!
