The owners were incredibly friendly and could suggest places to visit nearby. Breakfast was amazing, with a huge spread every morning, and the beds were clean and comfortable. We had a great stay.

We had a really enjoyable stay at this well-kept, family-friendly place. It's down-to-earth and typical of the Sauerland region, not a luxury hotel, but you can tell the hosts care about their guests. They were very friendly, and the breakfast was fantastic.

For hikers, this was just right, and we'd definitely come back. The owner puts so much love into the guesthouse, and you can feel it throughout your stay. Breakfast was more than perfect for us, with fresh produce brought to the table by the crackling fireplace. No pre-baked rolls, just freshness. We were surprised to find we had a whole apartment in this old half-timbered house in a small village near Winterberg. Its furnishings suit the house's charm perfectly. This short break reminded us that an expensive four-star-plus hotel doesn't necessarily meet guests' expectations. Thanks so much for a few wonderful days!

We'd gladly stay at this guesthouse again and warmly recommend it. The family atmosphere and very friendly welcome made us feel at home. We booked three nights, and our room was exceptionally clean and spacious. Breakfast was lovingly put together, with a wide, delicious selection of cold cuts, cheeses, rolls, and bread. The coffee machine had an amazing variety too. We were absolutely thrilled. Simply top!

The breakfast deserves special mention. Nothing was missing, and it was unlike any standard breakfast. A big thank you again to the hosts for such a friendly welcome and attentive care. We stayed here while traveling by bike. The rooms are rustic, very clean, and have very good beds. I can recommend this place 100%.
