Ferienhaus Nettes Landhaus

The three adorable donkeys and the lovely landscaped pond deserve a mention, though we couldn’t use them at that time of year. That’s why we’ve already booked for summer. We also had a lot of fun riding in the fantastic fire truck. There are great hiking trails nearby, and Belgium and Luxembourg are a short trip away for shopping, which made it easy to enjoy our time despite November weather that isn’t always ideal. Inside, the Nette Landhaus feels like a gem: very well kept, comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished. The room has lovely details, and the fully equipped communal kitchen has everything you could need and more. Mr. Maroska was friendly and accommodating, always available for questions. We’re looking forward to a few relaxing days there.

Eckhard Maroska and his "Nice Country House" were a real bright spot and lifesaver on an otherwise unpleasant day. He’s exceptionally friendly and helpful, and I’d love to return, hopefully next time without 30cm of fresh snow. The house is beautifully renovated, with a cozy living area for getting together and spacious, comfortable bedrooms. What a wonderful host!

The owner was very unfriendly, and the cleanliness was awful. There was dirt and grime everywhere in the rooms. The kitchen was a complete no-go. Photos available upon request. Stay away from this accommodation!

Belgium and Luxembourg are easy to reach, and there are plenty of places to visit in the surrounding German area. The apartment was a peaceful spot for relaxing, though its layout makes it less suitable for people with walking difficulties or families with very small children, and completely unusable for wheelchair users. We only got to spend two days in this gem, so we’ll save it for a longer holiday. It’s beautifully and tastefully furnished, much nicer than the usual used or discount furniture. Downstairs there’s a bathroom with a large shower, a big dining area beside the kitchen, and a few steps down to the bright, open living space. The bedrooms and other bathrooms are upstairs, and even a hairdryer was provided.
