Herrmanns Posthotel

Dining at Oma & Enkel was a highlight. Everything was flavorful and beautifully prepared, from the bread and butter through to the main course. Breakfast was just as memorable, and I still think about it. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive from the moment I arrived at Posthotel Alexander Herrmann. The modern, stylish design made for a relaxing atmosphere, and everything was immaculately clean. My room was extremely comfortable, with different pillows to choose from for a great night's sleep. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely return. Highly recommended! Service 10:10 Food 100:10

The team made the weekend feel like staying with family, they were so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was cosy and delicious, and the fine dining was a real highlight. Also, the pillows are absolutely next level. I got the best power sleep I've had in ages. Can't wait to come back.

I called the place a couple of times and got no response. It's a shame, because there are plenty of other places around that put in enough effort to make delivery work. The food itself was good in parts, but the experience was awful. The main dish tasted strongly of plastic where the packaging had burned onto it. The soups were so salty they were inedible, and we had to pour them away. I'm definitely not picky about salt. Some dishes also lost their sauce in transit, which left them very dry, and the packaging was soaked and messy. It didn't seem made for delivery. The dessert tasted good, but we had to bake it ourselves, something that wasn't mentioned beforehand. We had to heat the oven between courses, then prepare the dessert with additions that came in another unlabeled package. It wasn't worth the effort or the price. This was my first order, and probably my last. The prices are far too high for this quality, and I strongly encourage people not to spend money on it. It feels like a scam, as sad as that sounds.

We had a warm welcome, and everything was friendly and well organised. The hotel made a perfect base for enjoying Wagner at Bayreuth, with coach drop-off and collection. We had a late dinner at OMA & Enkel, where breakfast and lunch are served. On the night without opera, we had a superb degustation at 2 michelin star, AURA by Alexander Hermann.
