The harbor is just a 3-minute walk away, and this was a perfect base for the several days we spent exploring the area. The old gate view from our very large, clean room on the second floor was phenomenally beautiful. It's a simple guesthouse and very good value for money. We got a very friendly welcome, along with tips for nearby restaurants and breakfast options. In September there were lots of inexpensive parking spaces in the afternoon, but by 7:00 PM they were all taken. Indian food is just around the corner. The traditional German food at the restaurant overlooking St. Nicholas Church is very good. I really appreciate clean, firm towels, to be honest, and that's no reason for a bad review.

The nights were quiet and I slept well. The room is functionally furnished and sits in a historic building right by the harbor. Breakfast costs extra, though you can find everything you need nearby.

We’ll be back. The room was fine, and the guesthouse service was really friendly. The location is great too, with good bus connections. Thanks again!

The price was good for this simple guesthouse, which is handy for both the harbor and buses. My room was clean, quiet, and a decent size. The stairs up to the second floor are fairly steep, though that comes with the history of the building. I’d recommend it.
