The hotel needs to do better with dusting, hospitality, and breakfast quality. Our large double room was nice, and cost 114 euro including breakfast. It’s centrally located and has free parking. But the piles of dust had not been swept up, which is unbelievable. The person at reception was impolite and uninterested. Have breakfast somewhere else nearby. We’d come back if the hotel acted on the feedback other travelers have given.

A great room in an excellent location, plus free parking, which you don’t find everywhere.

We found parking in a lot right behind the hotel, which was handy. The rooms were quiet, and the nautical decor with its lovely wood paneling looked great. There was a nice breakfast spread and a good bar for evening drinks. The hotel is also in a great spot in Wismar’s charming old city.

That duck was spot on, crisp outside and cooked just right inside, with raisins and plums adding lots of flavor. The schnitzel was delicious too. Simply perfect.

The beer was good. There was one vegan dish on the menu, but its taste was pretty boring. It was OK.
