The service staff were really friendly, the location was good, and breakfast was good too. But the room was small, with a small shower and small beds, and the elevator doors took ages to open and close. Worst of all, the walls seemed like paper. We could hear our neighbors talking and playing music, and I’m surprised no one else has mentioned it. A good night’s sleep matters to me. It’s an old hotel, and not the same standard as the raddison blue.

The mattress was great, but the bathroom in our otherwise classic room was dirty, with hair left by the previous guest or guests. We also weren’t given the full room briefing, so didn’t know about the free first round of drinks in the fridge or the bathrobes for the sauna.

We stayed just one night in July 2023 and really wished we could have stayed longer. The rooms are small but cozy, and breakfast was wonderful, definitely worth having. The old historic building is right at the Marktplatz, and the hotel is very well managed, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. We left smiling and hoping to return to Wismar soon. Book parking through the hotel in advance!

The service personnel were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is right on the market Square. Breakfast was good, though I missed having fish. I liked the Sauna, but the Dampf sauna was under repair. Parking costs 17euro per day, which isn’t cheap.

The breakfast was delicious and very well stocked, and the staff were very friendly and spoke perfect English. My wife and I had a great Weekend at this stylish, comfortable hotel. It’s right on the Markt square, where the Wismar landmark is. I hope to visit again when we travel to the Ostsee region, and I definitely recommend staying here.
