The first time I stayed there, but it won't be the last. We spent 14 days in the sweet little bungalow and felt right at home. It has two bedrooms, a small living room, kitchen, shower bathroom, and terrace, plus everything you need, including a washing machine. Mrs. Matzen was lovely and dealt with a heating problem straight away.

I've stayed twice and would happily go again if the chance comes up. The little apartments are plain and practical, with no fuss, which suits you when you're out most of the time. The bungalow is great too, with everything you need, a lovely landlady, and a bus stop right outside. Simple, comfortable, and good.

The house is in a great spot for the beach, which you can reach on foot or by bus, car, or bike. It's central but still quiet, and the bus stops almost right outside. We had a lovely ten-day stay in Ms. Matzen's nicely furnished holiday apartment and never regretted booking it. The garden was a nice extra, with loungers, a little seating area, and a shady bench. We'd love to stay with Ms. Matzen again if we return to Amrum.
