The house is a real gem, close to the city center. We stayed two days as a group of four and spent a lot of time on the terrace, enjoying the lovely garden. Breakfast was fantastic, and the hostess gladly handled special requests. Everything is furnished with care and great taste, and we got a very warm welcome. I wholeheartedly recommend Haus Basken and will definitely return.

The hostess was so friendly and accommodating, and always served breakfast with care. We slept very comfortably, and the garden looked wonderful, though the bad weather meant we couldn't enjoy it. A lovely place to stay. Thanks for such a nice few days, I highly recommend it!

Breakfast at Mrs. Bastgen’s was prepared with so much care, and there was nothing we wanted that was missing. She was incredibly friendly and tried to meet every request. The room was spacious, elegant, and tastefully done, with a comfortable bed where we slept wonderfully. We could have used the garden too, but ran out of time. Mrs. Bastgen's Bed & Breakfast was even better than we expected.

We felt completely at home during our November stay with Ms. Bastgen. The room was beautiful, and we got excellent information and service. Thank you again for the thoughtful, varied breakfast and for looking after us so well.

We’ve stayed in many B&Bs, and this was by far the BEST. Mrs. Bastgen was wonderfully hospitable, and we’d love to return. The guesthouse is gorgeous, feels luxurious yet family-run, and we had nothing to criticize.
