There’s plenty of space for four, and the well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for a few restful days. The rooms are bright and open, and everything is clean and tidy. Inside, this unassuming house feels cozy and wonderful, with a maritime, modern style that’s very comfortable. It’s a good base for excursions, with a beautiful view of the lock. Highly recommended.

The view is fantastic, and it’s so quiet here. This lovely little house is furnished with real attention to detail. I’d definitely stay again.

Here at the Friedrichschleuse lock, there’s a lovingly renovated cottage that once belonged to a shipyard owner.
