I arrived on an ebike, and the staff unplugged the charger without telling me. The next day my batteries weren’t charged.

The owner and staff were very friendly, and the resident dog was the sweetest thing. Breakfast was a nice, standard buffet. We stayed in a very nice suite, but only for a short time, so we didn’t get to use all its facilities. The bed was really comfortable. Just outside Wolfsburg, the hotel makes for a quieter stay.

Never again. A single room costs €200, and then they charge extra for turning on the air-conditioning, parking, using the SPA, and breakfast. The minibar was empty, and the coffee-maker had been put away with only its power supply left. I didn’t feel valued as a customer, just squeezed for as much money as possible during the stay. This hotel is definitely off my list.

The wellness area was disappointing, with just one pool and two saunas, and both the pool and the area itself felt too cool. The rooms vary a lot, from disappointing to beautiful, depending on how old yours is. They all have iMacs, and the location is nice with good bus service. The service was below average for a hotel of this caliber. It was okay overall, but at this price and rating I expected more.

The restaurant and bar on site are good, and breakfast is decent. You can have the full buffet or just a small individual breakfast if you’re short on time or don’t want much to eat. The reception team are friendly and helpful. I’ve come back for the first time in many years. It’s convenient for Wolfsburg as long as you have a car.
