The hotel is very clean, and the employees are friendly. It’s right by the city center, with shops, restaurants, cafes, and bakeries within walking distance. Autostadt and the Outlet center are about a 15 minute walk away. Parking at the hotel costs 15 euros per night, though you can also find spaces on nearby streets, which are free on bank holidays and weekends.

The hotel was very clean, and the rooms were the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in. They were cleaned every day, which deserves a 10 out of 10. Breakfast was excellent quality, even if it didn’t change much from day to day. I highly recommend it.

The staff were very friendly and spoke several languages well. The parking garage felt very secure and cost 15 euros a day. Our first double room was lovely, with bathrobes and a free minibar. Since there were two men travelling together, we asked to change to a twin room. The second room was clearly in an older part of the hotel and was nowhere near as nice.

The hotel itself is great, but the noise from other guests made our last night really hard. Doors kept slamming and people were shouting in the hallway, with no consideration for anyone trying to sleep. We had to get up at 4 a.m. to travel, so better soundproofing would make a real difference.

The VW factory photos and canvases covering the walls give the hotel a real sense of history, and the room, food, breakfast, atmosphere, free minibar, and staff were all 10/10. The English-speaking team made us feel so welcome. They had a go at saying my name, Nigel, in German and we all laughed, which got the stay off to a great start. I could happily have stayed all week. Any UK residents who are VW fans should book here, trust me. Highly recommended.
