The location is hard to beat, close to the market, sights, and river. The hotel was very clean, the staff were cordial, and breakfast had everything you'd want. They kindly provided a tea kettle, which was really convenient. One room had a nice balcony, an extra sitting room, and a TV as well. There aren't many rooms, so they insist on an 11am checkout, probably because staff can't wait until evening to get rooms ready for the next guests. That may explain the negative comments. A 7.6 score doesn't do the place justice, given the location, cleanliness, room size, and staff. We'd stay again if we come to Wurzburg.

We stayed for five days, and the friendly, easygoing staff made it feel like being at home. It's a cozy, romantic hotel, and the host's special latte was a lovely touch. Breakfast was abundant, with fresh homemade bread served hot. This was my first time in Germany, and the warmth and respect we felt gave me the confidence to explore more cities and tourist attractions. I'd strongly recommend making this hotel a priority and visiting.

Everything you need for a city trip in Würzburg is a short walk away, since the hotel is so central. The staff were friendly, the beds comfy, and the place was very clean. Would recommend!

We really enjoyed our night here. The hosts were gracious, breakfast was pretty good, and the location is awesome, right in the heart of Wurzburg. You can walk everywhere from the front door.

This used to be my favorite hotel, up until 2018. I didn't stay there tonight, though. I went to Hotel Franziskaner because it has better facilities for disabled guests.
