Hotel Amical

This hotel was really inflexible, unfortunately. I booked a room in the morning, then had to cancel that evening because my rate didn't allow free cancellation. I asked them to cancel it that same day, even saying they could charge me a penalty if they wanted, but they didn't seem to care. They just said that was the room rate I had chosen, and that was that. I've had similar situations with other hotels, and not one of them was this inflexible.

The breakfast was good, and the rooms were clean, but the furniture is already old and poor quality. Despite having a double room reservation, I was given a single-bed room. I called the manager and the problem was sorted out, but the overall quality was very low.

I was visiting my parents, who were staying there, so I can't say much about the service. I really liked the interior and how the bed felt, especially its softness. They said breakfast was okay but not great, which is why I'm giving it only 4 out of 5 stars.

We had a small problem with our room, but the staff fixed it straight away and compensated us for the inconvenience. The hotel has friendly staff and decent prices, and we'd definitely choose it again when we're in the area.
