Pension Fennert

We’ve stayed here a few times and keep coming back. The host is really friendly and helpful, and everything’s very clean. You’ve got what you need for coffee, tea, toast, and the rest. I’d definitely recommend it.

The grounds and garden are beautiful, and it’s a quiet spot. Lubmin beach is about a 15-minute drive away. The host was pleasant too.

The place was clean, the mattresses were good, and the grounds were very well kept. But the interior felt like a construction worker’s room, with no privacy at all, even on the terrace. It wasn’t what we had imagined for a week’s vacation, so we left after three days. We were very disappointed when we first saw the accommodation and would have left right away, but the landlord made clear we’d still have to pay 80%. After driving 600 km, we gave up on that idea. Cat lovers and people who like chatting with the landlord might find it perfect. For us, it was a waste of money. I can’t understand the extremely high ratings.

It’s perfectly adequate as a base for a few outings, or for a quick stop while passing through.
