The owner, Saul, has turned this place into something really special on his own. It feels like a little private museum of East Germany, tucked among the trees, with an old-time atmosphere where the past still feels close. Saul is warm and welcoming, and hearing his stories is part of the charm. We spent one night here on the way home from a festival, and I’m already planning to return. If you like places with a bit of soul, you’ll love it.

We stayed for two weeks while another group was there too. The host was friendly and helpful, and happy to have a bit of fun. There’s also a friendly dog on site keeping an eye on things. Our room in the main building was clean and had what we needed close by, including a public swimming pool within walking distance. Thanks, Saul. I’d happily come back.
